Maine Combat Veterans Motorcycle Assoc.
I've had the pleasure of collaborating with the Maine Combat Vets Motorcycle Association and their annual raffle the last couple years. They auction off a beautiful Harley Davidson annually to raise money at the beautiful L-A Harley dealer in Lewiston, ME. Images were shot on location, in a basic conference room, which in an of itself added a layer of challenge, ... but in the end, it was fun and I learned a trick or two!

Ceres Copper are Copper Cookware Specialists; they restore hard-to-fine antique cookware to their original luster. Many pieces are forged in the 1800s in Europe.
For centuries, copper was the predominant choice for cookware. It possesses excellent conductivity and provides even heat distribution. Quality is evident when a pan crafted more than one hundred years ago may still be used today. Professionals and food enthusiasts continue to choose copper for these characteristics.
The history of each piece is revealed through smithing techniques, maker’s marks, owner’s initials, and wear patterns. One can imagine how these copper pans were put to work by their previous owners.....

I do love sports assignments and Ultimate Frisbee is an interesting challenge: huge field, non-stop running like Soccer, and some epic long long throws.

Maine Medical Partners Orthopedic and Sports Clinic
Some images are made to print large and I wished this one would find a nice home. Kerry Farrell of Farrell Art Consulting LLC approached me to install this image at Maine Medical Partners Orthopedic and Sports Clinic; a wish fulfilled.
The women pictured are awaiting the start of the Maniac Triathlon in Biddeford, Maine on a cool/crisp September morning. Water temps were probably in the mid to high 50s and the race is part triathlon and part season-end celebration.
I enter photo contests at Gurushots.com every once in a while just to keep sharp, have fun, and generally get awed by what others have done.
I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my images at the top of of this contest summary page the other day.

I love doing product work though I don't do it often. This is an image of a Luna bicycle, a custom frame builder out of New Mexico. Handbuilt, custom fit bicycle frames are a rarity these days.
IDEXX is located in Westbrook, Maine and also happens to be the only Maine company in the S&P 500.
Their purpose is " To be a great company that creates exceptional long-term value for our customers, employees, and shareholders by enhancing the health and well-being of pets, people, and livestock."
Chances are, if you own a pet, you've used an IDEXX product and probably don't even know it.
